Hi everyone.
Im new to the forums.
and here is one of my Problems when using Photoshop.

I use a MacBook Pro version 10.4.9
with a 2.16 GHz Intel Core Duo Processor
1 GB 0 MHz RAM Memory.

My problem is that whenever I create a Photoshop document, it tells me how big its going to be. and when i create a 1280 x 1024 document, it shows me that it take up 19 gigs? Here is a Picture to prove : <http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/2014/picture1us0.png>

I use Photoshop CS2 version 9.0.2.

any help or advice will be appriciated.

Did you know that image is about 42 feet wide?

Also this is the Windows side!

It would be a lot smaller if you use pixels instead of centimeters.

Also, that 19.0 G is the number of pixels, not GB.

Looking at the figures it suggests that what you really wanted was an image 1280px by 1024px @ 72ppi and not 1280cm x 1024cm @72ppc

That would be 3.75Mb in memory.

Well that’s four posts to state the obvious!
