First let me state that I dislike Kinkos very much, but I needed a short run flyer and didnt want to pay for offset printing. Its a basic 8 x 10 flyer with one color photo and the rest text. The logo is black and gold and the photograph is of a man in a suit and tie. It looks fine on my screen but when I take it to Kinkos, the whites of the shirt print yellowish. How much should I change the color balance so it will look right when I take it to Kinkos? Or are there any other suggestions?

You’ve given us no details. While I’m no big fan of Kinkos, the GIGO rule applies here.

What version of Photoshop? What color mode did you use? What printer is Kinkos using? Did they give you any guidelines? Is you monitor calibrated? How did you save the file?

Hi bob… wondering if you could help me out
im using photoshop cs, and no matter if i work in CMYK or RGB when i save the file as a jpeg ready for the photolabs, the tone/colours of the picture are different to what i see in photoshop. (but if i open the jpeg file through windows and not photoshop , the tone of that picture is how it prints.) I dont know why photoshop is showing me something differents,
If you could plz help me i would be soo thankfull

Photoshop is a Colour Managed application. Without proper calibration and profiling, colour integrity might end up worse than without C&P.

Use Adobe Gamma (or a hardware device) for calibration, and use the resultant file to profile your monitor.
