Hi

I need to correct brightness + contrast on a picture which is much to bright on the upper part, and much to dark in the lower part.

I was thinking I could use a gradient layer on which to apply the correction, but I can’t make it.

Do you have any idea?

TIA

Here’s what I would do Chrig. Instead of using a gradient layer, make a copy of your background and work on it. Then hit the Q key on the keyboard to turn on Quick Mask, select the linear gradient and drag across your picture. Hit Q again to turn off Quick Mask and you will the section that will be changed with marching ants. Make your changes to that section. If the section of the image isn’t what you want, try again except drag a little further or a little less. With me, it is a guessing game as to where the selection occurs. This works well because of the gradient.
