I have a Realizm 800 graphics card that cost about $2000.00. I have just upgraded too CS3 Extended form CS2 and now Photoshop is running SLOWWWW. Simple tasks such as changing tools prompts the hourglass. I know my card is designed specifically for 3d apps, so my question is what graphics card should I get (g-force XXX) to get the most out of CS3 Extended and it’s 3d capabilities? Thank you

Jay,

I use a XFX Geforce 6200 (256MB) I use the DVI output on 19200 x 1200 px. The card cost me about 50 Euros.

It sings, dances and cookes me meals.

I’m having severe problems with a GeForce 7950 GT and CS3. The application window fails to redraw completely and the cursor disappears. Various drivers, including the latest beta, haven’t helped. I’m shopping for another card, but haven’t figured out yet what will work reliably with my setup (Dell 9200, 30" Dell 3007WFP monitor, WinXPProSP2).
