Using CS2, I would like to start a project to create my own calendar using a selection of the best of my photos. Is there a site/advice somewhere which would show me the best way of doing this? My calendar would be A4 in size. I have seen a few shops which will produce a calendar from some prints, but they look a bit "amateurish" and look is if they were knocked up using some bad desktop publishing program.
I did see something like this a few years ago in a Digital Photo magazine (long since lost) and would like to create something a bit different and original.

Thanks

Graham

I have EZ Photo Calendar Creator that I’ve used to make
calendars, and it does a nice job. http://www.spectrumsoftware.com/ The EZ Calendar software lets you use your own pictures, and allows you to choose the type and size of calendar you want. For $20 it’s a decent program.
They also offer printing services to print calendars for you using your pictures.
I checked around and having calendars printed by someone else can get expensive, even if you order in bulk. Using the EZ Photo software and my HP printer, and printing on HP’s Everyday Photo Matte Paper, my calenders cost about $7 each…..about half of what they would have cost me to have them printed commercially.(I like using the HP Everyday Photo Matte Paper because it’s not glossy, it’s smudge resistant, and it results in a very sharp picture.) I only wanted to print a few for co-workers, since the calendars were a tongue-in-cheek joke relating to the company, but they went over so well, I ended up printing about 3 dozen of them.
You can download a free trial of the software to see if you like it.(It does place a watermark across the pages until you pay to register it.)
