Raw DCR file conversion

I have raw DCR files from a Kodak camera and would like to convert them to tiff files without any changes.

I have been viewing my photos in Google’s Picasa, where the photos appear fine. These photos are inherently noisy, but I want to manually remove the noise (dark current subraction and flat-fielding) later. When I open the raw files in Photoshop (CS 3), photoshop appears to be attempting some automatic image processing, as much of the image is darker, with some noise "removed." This is undesireable because some of the image information will be lost.

How can I convert my raw DCR files into tiff files WITHOUT any losses or changes? In other words, I want to retain all the information in the image, including noise, while converting the files into tiffs.

I have also tried using Kodak’s Photodesk to convert these files, but I am having a similar problem. During the conversion process, some sort of automatic image processing is occuring, and some image information is lost.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
