Yes that was the idea…

Your marvelous explanation to George Forman is a real keeper.I ,however, no longer fool around with printing multiple(different) images on a single sheet–can’t really see the point. Might he be better served by doing this?
Invest in an inexpensive paper cutter–cut the sheet to whatever print dimensions are required–size the pics to that dimension– do the printer page set-up etc,and fire away.Sure eliminates a lot of steps, and can save a bunch of expensive paper to boot.(Have I over simplified a common problem?)
BTW–My daughter works for USGS and ses the solar funny business is really mucking up the sattelite info everywhere.

No, Lou, if that method works for you, I think it’s fine. For me, that would be extra trouble, though, because my printer is so hard to reach! If I stretch, I can just kind of slide/toss a sheet of photo paper in on top of the regular stuff!!
There is one advantage to teaching someone how to use the manual method for printing photos – it gives them some practice in using layers in a non threatening way. It’s also the technique a person would use for creating a collage, which I’ve done several times.
I’m definitely a "whatever works" kind of person, but George needed some guidance in basic image manipulation, too. My philosophy is that I’ll give the painstakingly detailed long way, and once people learn what they’re doing they can make use of any shortcut they find comfortable! Like I do – you don’t think I always follow my own advice, do you? 🙂
I generally print for my album pages which are 8.5 X 11 size photo sheets. Printing dif images on a sheet is my only ‘ happy’ way. Once in a while I take a really good shot…then it’s up on the wall and then it’s one large printed image. I’m not a 4 X 6 snapshot kind of gal so my album pages have dif size images throughout. I couldn’t image only printing in a couple of dif sizes.
I would like to print several different images from PS7 to a single 8.5X11 inch sheet. Is there a way????
Thanks…

Is there a way????
Sure. Make an 8.5 inch by 11 inch document and put your pictures on it – each in different layers – and size/position as desired.
They all need to be the same resolution (pixels per inch) so that when you size to fit, they do fit.
You can use a grid and the move tool with the arrow keys for exact placement.
Another way would be the Picture Package under File>Automate>Picture Package. But you’ll be limited in the layout options.

But…this would be multiples of the same image, yes? The OP wrote "different images".

No. In the screen where the Picture Package comes up, you can click on the different image *boxes* on the sheet layout and change the photos within the different boxes since a *load image* dialog pops up. I print different images on a same page with Picture Package all the time.
Sorry I missed your post yesterday.
The Picture Package can easily have individual pictures interchanged with others on your computer by selecting the image within the layout and then browsing to a replacememnt.

How do I print multiple images in Photoshop Elements v 2.0 and have white space on all four sides? I have tried using picture package to print (4)4X5. When I do that, there is white space on 3 sides of each picture but the two top pictures run together and the two bottom pictures run together. I am using a Canon i950 printer, Windows XP Professional edition. I would greatly appreciate any help.
I am using Photoshop CS Vers.8.
Is it possible to print 4 images onto an A4 sheet?

Donna,
You should be able to do what you want by creating a blank canvas then drag the fotos you want to use to the canvas. Size the fotos first, and crop is needed, and have the fotos and the blank all the same ppi. Once on the canvas you can position them as you wish – and you can resize if needed.
There is a way to edit those picture package layouts, but, personally, I find them more trouble than they’re worth. The method I use seems complicated when you read it, but after you’ve done it a couple of times it goes very quickly, and it gives you much more control over the way the images are placed. Plus, you can print a variety of sizes on one page. The trick is to make sure the images you want to print are either all the same resolution to begin with, or learn to make use of the Move tool to resize after placing the images on the canvas. I prefer to have all my pictures at the same resolution in the first place, because that gives me precise control over the finished size.
Decide on the resolution you want for your prints, something between about 150 and 300ppi, and resize all the ones you want to print. Have them all open on your desktop.
Create a new blank canvas (File>New) Set it to either a white or transparent background, set the dimensions to something slightly less than full sheet (unless your printer does borderless printing), and set the resolution to match that of the images you want to print. Leave the new canvas open on your desktop, too.
Using the Move tool, drag and drop the first image to the blank canvas. Repeat for each one, and then use the Move tool to get the exact placement you want.
File/Automate/Picture Package …
I did a search but couldn’t find anything on this… Can I select multiple images in Bridge then "print" or do I have to print each photo individually? I know in Lightroom you can… Any ideas?
