Uninstall Photoshop 6.0 Problems (Windows XP)

I am attempting to uninstall Photoshop 6.0 using Add/Remove in Windows XP. I get an error message saying "Can’t find information log file C:/Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop 6.0/uninst.isu. Uninstall is terminated." Adobe technical support no longer offers support for 6.0. Can anyone help me manually removing Photoshop 6.0? Thank you.

I’ve used Uninstall Plus (I think that’s the name — it’s on a different system) for situations like that, as well as cleanup after Windows uninstall has mangled things. CNet.com is a good source for utilities like this.

you can also reinstall v6 over top of the old version then use add/remove programs.
