I wonder why it doesn’t come up in "Updates…" within Photoshop.

It probably will after a day or three. According to either John Nack’s blog or Jeff Schewe’s article referenced in it, the ACR 4.1 update will be in the automatic updates.

Was in my Updates yesterday. But I had to access it, PS didn’t automatically inform me as it used to.
