Edit Fill comand will fill outside instead of inside? Fix?

Sorry – I mean that I am using paths pallete > Right clicking to get the fill command.

I think this is Sort of like how you can invert a marquee mask to cut either the iside or outside… but with paths…

I think that there must be a way to invert your path in order to have the option to fill the inside or outside. I am looking but cannot find this. By chance, for a week it was fixed on filling the inside (the way i want it) But then it just got switched to filling the outside of the path again…

As I said, you are clicked on the wrong icon (on the Options Bar). Look at the Options Bar with the Pen selected. See the four little icons on to the right of Auto Add / Delete?

With the path active look at the effect clicking on each icon has on the preview in the Paths palette.
