I have a problem… I bought a CD version of CS3 upgrade and loaded it on my desktop. Now I want to load it on my laptop but the CD drive won’t work.

If I DL a trial copy from the Adobe site, will I just be able to add the serial number and I’m OK (I’ve read so much about beta and trial versions causing trouble)…

thanks,

tom

Given how long it would take to do a download, why not just network your desktop & laptop together if they have ethernet ports, then use your CD in the destkop and transfer the installation to you laptop from there. Or, if you have a USB key of sufficient capacity, use that to transfer the installation files from the desktop.

Not sure which idea works best for you, but I’m beginning to wonder if USB keys have surpassed velcro or duct tape yet in usefulness! ha!
