The Photoshop CS3 Help file states:

“You can open camera raw files in Camera Raw from Bridge, After Effects, or Photoshop.”

I know how to bring a file into Camera Raw from Bridge. How can I bring a file into Camera Raw directly from the Photoshop program (without using Bridge)?

Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

Hi Barry,
Just pull down "File > Open" and select a "camera raw" file. The ACR plugin will be launched automatically.

If you want to edit with ACR a "non-raw" (e.g. JPEG) file, pull down "File > Open As" dialog and choose "Open As: Photoshop RAW" option.
