Hello,

OS: Windows XP Pro. SP 2
Software: Adobe Photoshop CS2

I created a 2×3.5 business card. This card need to be placed on 8.5×11 paper with 10 per page. I was told Photoshop can already do this but I have no idea how.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Chad

Look at your image size first. if your card is 2×3.5 at 300 ppi, then create a new document at 8.5×11 at 300ppi. then hit the v-key and drag your image onto the blank canvas. repeat till the page is filled and then flatten the file. there is probably an automated way under file-automate-picture package or contact sheet, but till someone steps in to advise, my suggestion may allow you to proceed a while.

Chad,

Using Automate > Picture Package, you can design your own layout. One option is to place ten 2×3.5-inch zones on an 8×10-inch page, with no borders between the zones. So, you’d need to cut the cards out accurately. The other option is to define your page at something such as 8.1×10.4 inches, so you could adjust the zone placment to put a 0.1-inch gap between the cards while the template itself should still be small enough to print within most printer margins without any scaling. The 8×10 approach may be a bit safer.

Once you’ve created and saved the template, just open your image and have it populated into a picture package for printing.

Regards,

Daryl
