I’m trying to copy an image from another photoshop file. The problem I am faced with is it’s also copying the white background, and I don’t want that part to be copied. Can somebody help me out with that?

thanks,
damien

select the white before you copy (magic wand might be good, or select> color range). then invert the selection (crtl-shift-i). then copy the rest to the new image.
