hi,

I downloaded the free trial,
but when I try to execute the install,
I get a very quick windows command line prompt,
that says: "program too big to fit in memory"
then the command line prompt disappears,
and the installation seems to quit.

running windows xp pro SP2
1 gig DDR2
260 gig partition

I tried burring the .exe to disc,
and I get the same error.

any ideas here?
I have found nothing like this problem via search

Do you have any other applications or background utilities running that use a lot of memory resources? I’d not expect roblems of this nature to arise with 1GB of system memory, but that is a somewhat smallish amount these days, but mostly if you’ve got other apps hogging your resources. That is, when I’ve seen this problem, it was usually due to a lack of insufficient RAM to support the loading of another application.

I’m not sure, but if your Windows pagefile is too small, that too might be the problem. You can allow Windows to manage it, or set it to a fixed size about 1.5-2 times the size of your system memory if you don’t want it to become fragmented.

Daryl
