NEED HELP Updating CS2

I have downloaded ps902.exe and a security patch for cs2 that I wish to install.

However, the directory i have installed photoshop in is different to the C:/ drive and because the updates are automatic, they say they cannot find CS2.

Any ideas how to fix this???

Install Photoshop where it should be and you will be fine.

All I can think of is that you have a corrupt installation of PS CS2, which perhaps you can try uninstalling (and while not required, performing a Transfer Activation might be prudent in case of other errors) and reinstalling, following that with the patch. Keys in the Windows Registry define the installation point, so there shouldn’t be any problem even running an automatic patch where you do not have to point to the installation folder. I have my Adobe apps installed on my D drive so they can be shared between two operating systems; there is no reason at all that you cannot install a program to anyhwere other than its default location…or if there is, it should be clearly stated in installation notes. The ps902.exe update ran fine for me, with PS in my non-default location.
