I’m sorry if this is a repost… I posted a while ago but it didn’t show up.

With PS/CS I could change one file in a web-gallery and PS/CS would "magically" notice that only one file had changed and would just do a quick update of the website. It seems that PS/CS3 rebuilds the entire thing. Am I doing something wrong, or is there some reason that this very useful feature has vanished.

thanks,
foster

P.S. By "website," I mean the local version of a website. This has nothing to do w/ any exported version of the site that lives on some server.

Any ideas? This used to happen automatically with PS/CS.

Wow, I didn’t know I was the only one who used this feature. Is it so obvious how to do this in the new version that it doesn’t warrant a reply?

wish i could help. if i want to change one file, i change the file and update the page code by hand. have you tried the help file?

Thanks for the reply Dave.

Yes, but the help file never said anything about it in PS/CS either. It always just kept track (by file dates I assume) and so I just thought that CS3 wouldn’t lose that ability. I’ll keep looking. It’s funny because a fair number of people in the Lightroom forum have looked for this feature in that program. So perhaps rather than adding it to LR, they just removed it from PS.
