Hi All,
I have been trying to re-creat the lines or wisks<< i think thats what you call them like in the following picture. Would anyone know how?

my guess is they were done by hand.

They were done with a Fractal generator—maybe a standalone <http://www.btinternet.com/~ndesprez/> app <http://dmoz.org/Science/Math/Chaos_and_Fractals/Software/>, or possibly Kai’s Power Tools (KPT) FraxFlame <http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/corel/l/blkptfraxflame.htm> Photoshop plugin.
