Save for Web Error (version CS)

Just recently I have been receiving an error which states "Could not complete the Export command becuase of a program error" when I try to use "Save for web". I have uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop multiple times and even deleted the "Save for web" preferences, neither of which worked. Has anyone encountered this same problem or know how to fix it? Just another bit of info, "Save for web" in Illustrator still works fine.

Did you delete the photoshop preferences as well? They are not deleted in a reinstall.

Yes, all preferences were deleted, but the problem persisted.
