If I've got an image open and then place another image into it, how
can I resize that placed image? Often times the newly placed image is
way too big for the image it's been placed into and needs to be shrunk
or enlarged. It has to be possible right? Any help you could provide
me with would be greatly appreciated!

Edit>Transform or Control+ T on the keyboard. Drag the resulting "handles"
to suit.
