Is there a way to take a line made by line tool and curve it?

If your in Photoshop anyway, the pen tool is fine.

In either program you have to learn how it works though!

Wavy? What do you mean?

Anyway, you could try Filter>Distort Shear.

Like I said, you have to learn to use it.

What are you trying to achieve?

I have a feeling that what you’re seeing, and calling "bumpy" is just the display of the path onscreen.

First of all, make sure you’re viewing at 100% magnification.

Create a curvy, closed path. Right-Click on the path with your Path Selection tool (tap the "A" key on your keyboard—black arrow). Fill the path with a color, then use CTRL + H to hide the path. See how smooth the rendered curves are?

I thought he might have been using the Freeform Pen Tool.

so there is no way to take a line made from line tool and just bend it all at the same time?

no john, you make a path with the pen tool. then when you have it shaped the way you want, you can stroke the path to make the curvy line.

np. the pen tool gives you the control to create what you want and adjust it before committing it by stroking it.

& fwiw, you can also create extremely precise selections with the pen tool. you adjust until it’s perfect then click "convert path to selection" button at the bottom of the path palette (panel, whatever!<g>).
