Im an Emergency Services Photographer in Sydney Australia, I take all my pics on a regular CF Card then put it in the card reader and start to edit, saving the new edited image over the original file on the CF card so i can take the card to the Fire Station the next day and offload them straight onto their computer so that there are no CDs to loose or anything like that…

Well i will cut to the chase:

I drag the image from the CF Card to Elemnts 5.0 (Editor) and do my desired edits, I then save, choose the image size/quality i would like and then press SAVE and save over the original file. A short while later (5-10 Seconds) a pop-up pops-up saying "There was a problem accessing the Organiser Catalog. It may be in use by another process, or a disk error occured"

It used to not be a problem but now i easily take 1000 images over a Saturday and only have Sunday to edit them it really cuts down on efficiency.

Any ideas on how i could fix this issue i would love to know, Thanks heaps.

You are in the wrong forum. Elements is at <http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx/.eeb4f8b/>.

Having said that, it is never good to save back on to the card – why not use a USB pen drive?

Why is it bad to save back to the card?? I tried another way (Saving to desktop) message still came up.
