Hi forum,

I’ve searched the forum, but culdn’t find aything about this.

Is there a simple way to distribute to layers the content of a smart object ?

Or after you create a smart object you have your layers trapped inside it?

TIA

You can highlight a group of layers and "Convert to a Smart Object" using the right-click menu

I think I was not clear, sorry for that, english is not my first language.

What I want to do is after you group some layers to a smart object, can you ungroup ( break the smart objects) back to layers ?

TIA.

Just double-click your smart object to reveal its contents.

And if you resave the Smart Object with a different name once you have double clicked on the Smart Object for editing, you can restore the layers inside the renamed file…
