After installing CS3 my color prints looked horrible. I followed the advice on the Epson website, changed various settings, and now my color prints look good again.

However, my black and white prints look terrible, very washed out and mottled. The same file looks great when printed on CS2. I’ve tried every combination of settings I can think of and nothing has worked yet.

Any help would be appreciated.

cs3 is having some ‘issues’ with printing on epson printers and apparently are in contact with epson trying to rectify the matter …

i re-installed cs2 so i work on the print in cs3, print using the epson driver to get close and then open the print in cs3 and use the appropriate icc’s for the paper etc and print from cs2 …

not great but it works …
