Horizontal Slide Show Images Distorted

When I create a horizontal slide show as a Web Photo Gallery and review the slide show on my local drive, the vertical and horizontal images adjust themselves nicely during the slide show. However, when I upload it to my web site and view the slide show on the web site, the vertical images do not adjust for the fact that they are vertical and are distorted (causing the wide people effect). If I use one of the ‘flash’ galleries, the images DO adjust correctly on the web site, but I would like the slide show to display larger images than the ‘flash’ galleries allow, so wanted to use the horizontal slide show.

Any suggestions?

Carol – I’m encountering the exact same issue. Unfortunately, I’ve not found an answer either. What program are you using to publish the photos from your computer to your website?
