I don’t even have to wait until you repost your question (I know the forum software sometimes takes a return as a completed posting, when you think you are getting to the next window.

That error leads me to think that you have a bad font on your computer. Something you got free off the web. It is worth exactly what you paid for it, as it has an error, and breaks Photoshop. (I know it doesn’t break other programs … but PS is very sensitive in these matters).

Hopefully you don’t have 2000 active fonts that you have to find the bad one(s) in.
