Is it possible to transfer metadata from xp explorer to bridge?
For example, if I’m viewing the photos in a folder on my hard drive called Pics, I can right-click on one of the column heads, let’s say "Date Created", and a drop-down list appears that has a bunch of fields you can select to display. I select "Subject" and "Comments" to be displayed. Then, straight from the folder view, I can right-click on one of the photo, select Properties, select the "Summary" tab, and enter text directly into the "Subject" and "Comments" fields.
Now if I browse the Pics folder, I can see the "Subject" text and the "Comments" text for each photo. Oh yeah – this assumes I’m in "Details" view in windows explorer…
I recently recieved a buttload of files that were tagged this way; I’d love to be able to view them in adobe bridge, along with their subject & comments metadata. Any ideas?
