Looking for good RIP software for Photoshop

Do you use a RIP software? If so, can you help me? I work for a textile designer and we need to get the best match between our pantone swatches and the final printed product possible. We’ve decided to look into RIP software, but there are so many different providers we don’t know where to begin. Does anyone have any experience with any of the providers (negative or positive)?

If it helps to know, we’re using dye-sublimation with an Epson 7800 printer.

You may want to take a look at Qimage, a printing package that is like a RIP, but I don’t think truly is one.

Other than that, I know Firey has a good reputation, but I’ve never used their software. Epson made a decent PS software RIP several years ago, but I don’t know the status of that either…. although because you’re printing with an Epson, that would be a logical starting place.
