CS8, XP Pro

I imported a tif from Lightroom 1.1 using PhotoPro workspace.

I have limited filter options available to this photo. For instance, I don’t have liquify.

Could someone tell me why and how to get all filter options back, especially liquify?

if your image in in 16 bit mode, change to 8 bit.

Liquefy didn’t work on 16 bit per channel images until Ps 9. It sounds like your image is still 16 bits per channel. Image>Mode>8bits per channel…

Somewhere I still have the suite of six or so filters including USM and Gaussian Blur that were written for 16 bpc before Adobe included them on their own. There are often incremental improvements in Ps versions that don’t always make the big headlines.
