When viewing the created slide show in the Photoshop program the images appear sharp. However, when I burn the slide show to the DVD the image are not as sharp. Why?

The Slide show is being created via the Slide show dialogue box. I select the slide show option. I set my preference, which includes the high quality selection. Once editing is done I review the show. At this point the picture are sharp. I than select output and request burn to disk. When this task is completed I review the slide show from the disk. The images are know of a lower quality (blurred) as compared to the slide show review when done in the slide show editor. I’m viewing both the disk and the created slide show on my computer screen.
