Is Photoshop 6.0.128 compatible with the Camera RAW update? I am using data from a Cannon camera.

I don’t think so. Raw came with 7, I think. It may be time to upgrade. In fact, you should upgrade immediately, to CS2. You can only upgrade to CS3 from 7.0 or higher, and that level is bound to go up next version.

You might still be able to find a legit upgrade copy of CS2 around somewhere, and get back on the upgrade path.

There was an optional RAW converter for 7 available as a plug-in. The first version that came with built-in RAW support was CS (8). If you want to use a camera made in the last 4 years or so (anything newer than the Canon 10D, for example), CS won’t support it. As updates are created, they are only available for the latest version; the older versions are not updated once a new version comes out.

Bottom line is that anyone shooting RAW is going to need something newer than PS 6.0. As Don pointed out, time is running out to get the CS2 upgrade and I think the free upgrade to CS3 offer is also over.
