I had Photoshop CS2 for windows and did many projects using the WarnockPro Regular font. I recently upgraded to CS3 and that font is no where to be found now!!

I have a full backup of my fonts folder, and guess what.. not in there either!!! Anyone know what the deal is with upgrading to CS3 and WarnockPro? Is it renamed or something or just plain gone?

Deke,

If you view the fonts in Photoshop they might not be in the sort order you ‘d expect.

Check with the O/S. When you say the font also disappeared from the backup, there must be something with the way you look, not with the font.

Hey Rob,

This font (WarnockPro) and a few others are no where to be found in the fonts list, nor are they found anymore in the Windows Fonts directory.. which is extremely odd. When I open up all my old PSD’s… I get the "you have type in this file where the font file is missing" or something like that… "would you like to substitute"..blah blah blah.

If anyone with PS CS3 can tell me if they have WarnockPro.. that would at least tell me something is wrong with something and they didn’t just take WarnockPro out of the latest PS.

If you had and were able to use WarnockPro previously, installing a newer version of Photoshop wouldn’t get rid of it.

I don’t have CS3 but in CS2 it had to be installed manually from: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts

Hey Derrick,

I’m not quite sure I understand how to install a font to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts? Do I just place the font file in that folder?

open the control panel. start the fonts applet and install it from file> install new fonts.
