Hello,
I’ve been exporting frames from Quicktime movies to PICT images and then using them inside Photoshop on my Mac for years. I’m now trying to do the same thing on a new PC and the error "the PICT file is too complex for this machine" keeps popping up. There is nothing special about these small images I’m exporting and the PC is fast so that can’t be the case. A quick search in HELP and there is no mention of importing PICT files in CS3 (PC) that I found.
So I’m looking for a way to export still frames from movies and open them in CS3 on a PC using Quicktime Pro or some other free/cheap movie export software. I need to be able to manually scroll to a specific position in the movie timeline before exporting the frame so a batch tool probably wouldn’t help in this situation.
Any suggestions for a quick fix?
Thanks!
Ron
