CS3 profile mismatch

Hi

I m taking pictures in srgb,cs3 is in srgb,but when I open a file Cs3 tells me that I am in adobe srgb"embedded profile does not match…"where can I correct this and also the fact that when I "save as" a file there is always a checked box "icc profile adobe rgb 1998" that I have to unchecked every time….thanks

Check your colour settings.

And DON’T uncheck that box in the save as dialog box, (that’s what embeds the profile)

Make sure your Color Settings are set to "Preserve Embedded Profiles". When you read the file in just ignore the PS warning by selecting "Leave as is (don’t color manage)" if it asks. This keeps your camera’s embedded sRGB profile.

When you save the file out of PS, it should still have the camera sRGB file embedded. Make sure you keep it when you save the file. PS won’t try to save a different profile, just the one already embedded in the file.

So, if you don’t change it when you read the file in, PS won’t change it when you save it.
