My TEXT TOOL have stopped working

Well I was editing this scan (manga scan) then someone IM’ed me on Yahoo Messenger and was flooding me so I got annoyed and flooded him to (using the type first then pres up and press enter ) so I literally hammered my enter button after he stopped bugging me I returned to Photoshop CS2 but then when I tried to type it wouldn’t go down when I pressed enter so I uninstalled it and installed it again but now the blinking line thingy is gone and I cant type at all! Please help !

huh? apparently most of your punctuation keys are out too. i know most of the words in your post, but i don’t think they can go together like that.

anyway, reboot and try again. if that fails reset your prefrences per the faq.
