How many times do you intend to ask the same question?

You don’t edit PDFs in Photoshop…in fact, you shouldn’t be editing them at all. Find the original document and open it in the creating application and edit it there. Create a new PDF.

If you don’t have the original some minor edits can be made in Acrobat Professional.

Depends on what you want to do.

Use Illustrator to edit and create documents with text, graphics and images. Use Image ready to edit photographs. (Photoshop is better and if you have Image Ready, you probably have Photoshop)
Use InDesign to create multi page books and pamphlets.
Use Go Live to create web sites.

After you get a bit more comfortable:
Use Photoshop and Image Ready to prepare images to place in all the other programs.
Use Illustrator to create logos and graphics that you can save as images for use in the other programs… etc, etc.

None of these programs is designed for a novice. So you’ll have a steep learning curve. Get to work on what you want to do. (using the information above) Come to these forums (there are individual forums for most of these programs) and search and read a lot before you post a question. You’ll usually find answers to the same question you are asking.

Use the help key a lot (F1) on all of the programs and use Google a lot to find free tutorials and tons of tips and tricks already out there.

Use Adobe Acrobat to create .pdf files to send proofs and concepts of the work you created in all of those other programs, but NEVER edit a .pdf file. It’s somewhat possible but very restricted. It’s kind of like trying to edit an image printed on a piece of paper.

None of them. Once it’s flattened, saved and closed, the Layers are gone. A layered editable file should always be saved, and a flattened separate file made from it.

Any chance that was done?

Sorry.

Derick,

You may be able to open and do some editing of the PDF in Illustrator.
