Subject: Transform Warp for "Peel back page effect" Reply | Reply to author | Forward | Print | Individual message | Show original | Remove | Report this message | Find messages by this author
New member.
Hello. I am very new to Photoshop CS3 and so this question may be really stupid.
I am taking a web site building tutorial and the instructor shows how to make a Peel Back effect. That is to say, for example, he has a header made with the rectangle tool and given a gradient. He then uses Edit|Transform|Warp to "peel back" the top left had corner of the
rectangle, making it look like your turning the page of a book.
My question is: when he does it, the color of the gradient is maintained on the back of this peeled down section, while mine is white which destroys the illusion.
Here’s the instructors peeled page: http://umarketingunewsletter.com/
Here’s mine: http://www.kingcon.com/barrYg/peeled.jpg
As I said, a very begginers like question, but it’s one of those you might not find from reading several books on Adobe Photoshop, so if anyone can help me I’d appreciate it.
Note: the instructor is not to be found. These tutorials were made a long time ago.
Appreciate any help.
Barry
