whenever i try to crop an image (regardless of resolution size) photoshop cs3 freezes on me, i can however, crop the image using "open with camera raw" but it’s just annoying that i have to do that every time
looked at task manager and right when i crop and when it starts to freeze, the memory of photoshop’s program skyrockets to 907,xxx K, which is according to my friend really really high
and also, computer memory shoots up to 1.6gb
the computer is 2 weeks old, dell c521, i’ve never had a problem like this before on my older computers (windows xp)
computer specs are amd 4400+, 2.3ghz, 2gb ram, and the only other programs running would be adobe bridge and trillian, but even if i close those, it doesn’t make a difference
edit: it’s photoshop cs3 extended if that matters
