When I create a new document and try to add text, i can normally use a size of around 30 pt or so, but it always makes it extremely small. To make it visible, i have to use the thousands for the sizes and even then its not always big enough.

Is there any way to fix this? Thank you very much in advance.

Mike

Well that’s your problem. Raise it. (with Resample Unchecked) Photoshop thinks each pixel is a half-inch square… and that your print size is huge (I assume). Fonts in point units look at your print size to determine how large to display. Another solution is to change your font units to pixels.

72 is default (for screen viewing) 300 or better is generally accepted norm for printing.
