I used to like photoshop – but now you need a masters degree and the ability to memorize several thousand icons that never do what you want. And to top everything off … today it decided to and open 974 browser help windows. Adobe always wants upgrade fees yet with each upgrade their product becomes more user unfriendly.

browsers have been known to open up when the system is low on resources. make sure your windows swap file is 2 times the size of installed memory. make sure your ps scratch drives aren’t almost full. make sure your c: drive isn’t almost full. make sure you’re not running out of ram. this has happened since at least cs iirc.
