Got the exact same OS and OS settings between work and home?
You have to eliminate that as a variable, if you can. Could be Vista is digging through the file while it decompresses from the native PSD format to make sure it isn’t malicious.
Just a guess, regarding the speed of opening. And I don’t know whatif anythingthat may have to do with the size of the swap file. 2.7 GB does seem a little high. But for a file of those pixel dimensions, you must have a ton of layers, containing a LOT of data for it to be 37 MB.
