I just installed PS7 and when I run the app the color pallete is tinted purple. Any photo I open is also tinted purple. So much so that sometimes you cannot make out the image at all. I unisntall and installed PS6. It works fine. I reinstalled 7 but same issue. I then adjusted the Color Settings in the EDIT menu by comparing to a working install. Nothing. I then reinstalled 7 again and copied a working PS7 directory over top of the non-working one. Still same issue. Is this a PS issue or is something else up. I play lots of games and the colors there are just fine. Any help is much appreciated!!

Have you tried the directions given in the FAQ for this very same problem?

I was unable to locate a solution that fixes this issue. I did see the one about the yellow tint in the FAQ but the solution did not solve my issue. If anyone has something useful to say, other than, "Read the FAQ", it would be much appreciated. You can see from the steps above, that I already tried, that I didn’t just give up and post a message. I was unable to locate a solution through Google or in help. Thanks!

Running Adobe Gamma is the solution (because your display profile is at fault), and will solve the problem.

This is the solution given in the FAQ.
