How would I create a single contact-sheet of thumbnails of all of the images in a hierarchy of subfolders?
If PS cannot do it is there another program that can be used?

You have in your posession the best professional imaging program in the world, and you think it can’t do that?
File > Automate > Contact Sheet (II)

Or go to the Help menu, take Search and type CONTACT.
