I am trying to replicate a website button created by my client’s former web designer. I am using Photoshop 7 in Windows. I’ve deterimined that they used a font called Monotype Corsiva. However, they seemed to use a size which is not offered in the Windows version of Photoshop. When I select that font, the choices offered in the drop down skip 16pt — going from 14pt to 18pt. — I am certain that the original artwork used 16 point. Is there some way to alter the font size, or enter it manually?
Thanks

Yes….enter it manually.

The values in the drop down menu are just common sizes. You can put pretty much any size you want in the numerical entry field. You can also highlight the number and increment or decrement the value using your arrow keys.

Wow – Manually, who knew? I just assumed if it was in a drop down that’s all there was. Thanks

You can even enter fractional values like 26.3.

When I’m trying to match an existing bit of text I get it close, then use free transform to get it closer. Then I start messing with kerning, tracking and height and width percentages.
