I would like to put a heading on to my webpages that were generated in Photoshop7. I don’t seem to be able to upload the image without getting the white page showing. I have gone into "Export Transparent Image" but still have the white page in the background. Doing it this way does seem as if the text can be moved, but don’t know how to get the text on its own.
Can anyone help?

Is the background in your PS file transparent? If so, use Save for Web and choose GIF with transparency checked and a color similar to the background color for Matte.

If not, delete the background (you may have to change to RGB mode, then rename the background layer to a new name to be able to do this). If you have the checkerboard pattern, you have transparency. Then go to Save for web as above.
