eraser and brush tools stopped working! help!

both those tools just dont do anything when i try to use them!

the block option of the eraser tool works and the pencil tool works as well

to top it off i just got cs 3 and it doesn’t work with that either!!!

someone help!!!

the tools will sometimes stop working if the mouse or stylus that is not being used is too near the tablet. Move it well away!

You might also need to get updated drivers from the Wacom web site.

Mindy, did you view and understand Andrei’s little video?

If you follow that, and Len’s advice, it must work!

The only other possibility is to "reset" the Eraser Tool.

I’m starting to get it. . . right now I’m trying to understand the Once option in the sampling menu. My understanding is you click a color you want to erase and it just Erases just that one color as you drag the mouse. I did that but it still erases other colors as well. Does it matter what the brush size is?

Yes. You have to try things out yourself!

Image editing is not a precise science and the only way to learn is to try things out – and to practise practise practise.
