Hi!
How can I save files with PS CS2 so that you could open it with version 6.0.? (not JPEG!) PSD! 😉

Thank you!
Niko

There’s a bug in version 6.0 that causes it to choke on SOME PSDs from later versions. No real workaround for that as far as I know.

You can try layered TIF but I don’t remember if 6.0 supported that.

PS6 supports layered tiffs if you turn that feature on in Preferences. Worth a shot.

Also, be sure you are updated to 6.0.1.

layered tif.

version 6 is 4 versions back Adobe will not even allow an upgrade to CS3 with it the chances of them fixing the bug are Zero.

@Ed Hannigan: Could you sent me a screen shot of these preferences for saving as tiff?

Sorry, but I don’t have Photoshop 6 on my machine any more. Just look in Edit>Preferences. It’s probably in File Handling, but I can’t be sure. Might be under General.
