Please can someone help me, I am new to Photoshop and quite clueless. In photoshop I can see thumbnails of all my photos but can’t open them or edit them. When it starts searching for the missing file it says it can not find them. I have look all through my hard drive and can’t find them. Does this mean they are gone for good and is there anyway I can get them back using the thumb nails?

Thanks, rather worried…

Are you viewing your thumbnails with Adobe Album software or something similar?

All you are seeing on your screen is the thumbnails that are in the cache file – I suspect that you did not download the images from your camera memory card.

As soon as you removed the memory card you removed the images.

Insert the memory card or connect the digital camera again and download the images to your PC.
