Hey guys,
So I have a square SHAPE on one layer and a Font layer on another.

I want to punch the font SHAPE out of the square SHAPE?

How can I do this? I know I can make the font a "shape" by right clicking it but I can’t seem to DELETE one shape from another.

Thoughts?

Ctrl+click on the icon in the layers palette (T) to select its outline, then highlight the layer you want to cut out and hit the delete key.
