Photoshop and sharepoint services 3

I am using sharepoint document libraries, everytime I try and safe anything back to the library from photoshop it returns the error

Could not save "file" because of a disk error.

Other programs such as indesign don’t seem to have this problem.

Is this an inherant problem with photoshop because it seems to do the same thing no matter which version I use.

I have tried to CS1, CS2 and more recently CS3.

It is always advisable to save to a local drive and copy to a networked drive. This is a weakness of Photoshop – it doesn’t seem to apply to many other applications.

I would agree with that, I know that the file sizes for photoshop files can be massive but I would think they would have addressed this by now.
